The freight capacity of Shenyang-Dalian railway can be increased by 11.5 million tons per year, and the freight capacity of Shenyang-Harbin section of Beijing-Harbin railway can be increased by 10 million tons per year. It greatly alleviates the tense situation of transportation capacity of Harbin-Dalian railway corridor. As of December 1, 2017, Harbin-Dalian High-speed Railway has run 330,000 trains safely, successfully coping with 102 snowstorms, which highlights the extraordinary strength of China's high-speed railway. The Northeast Railway Network, with Harbin-Dalian High-speed Railway as its north-south spindle, has been integrated into China's high-speed railway network by connecting with Qin-Shenzhen passengers and forming Shenyang-Changchun high-speed railway network. The two-hour economic circle centered on cities such as Dalian and other cities, and the four-to-six-hour economic circle from major cities to Beijing, have injected vitality into the revitalization and development of Northeast China.
